Entrepreneur Programs Indianapolis

PitchFeast is Home to 3 Programs That Provide Support to BIPOC Entrepreneurs:

PitchFeast Business Pitch Competition

PitchFeast Business Pitch Competition is a unique event that gives minority entrepreneurs the opportunity to acquire substantial funding for their start-ups. Twice a year, ten entrepreneurs who identify as Brown or Black, have five minutes to pitch their respective businesses to a group of investors and a live audience for the chance to win start-up capital and other wrap-around services. Currently, prizes are awarded as equity or low-interest loans by way of a partnership with IMPACT Central Indiana. First place receives $25,000, second place $15,000, and third place $10,000. There is also a fourth prize of $5,000 that goes to the “audience choice.”

PitchFeast Peer Group and Mentor Program

At PitchFeast, we believe that if an aspiring entrepreneur of color is surrounded by two dozen other entrepreneurs, a dozen subject matter experts, and a couple of well-connected individuals who are willing to make introductions over an extended period of time - the likelihood of a successful launch increases. To achieve this, we established the PitchFeast Founders Peer Group, a group of mentors available to support business founders that have or will pitch in our competitions.

PitchFeast Office Hours

Over the past 10 years of operating our Business Pitch Competition, we've learned that entrepreneurship works best when you have someone that you can ask for help. Every Thursday afternoon, from 2- 6 pm, we open our doors for one-on-one support to PitchFeast Founders. During this time we provide coaching, and technical assistance, and serve as a sounding board as they explore new ideas and problem-solve various challenges.
